Rally, discussion meeting and hand washing exhibition was organized in Keshabpur Upazila of Jashore marking National Sanitation Month October and World Hand Washing Day on Sunday.
Keshabpur Upazila Administration and Department of Public Health Engineering organised the programmes in collaboration with Haisawa and SKS Foundation.
Deputy Public Health Engineer Shahangir Alam presided over the discussion held in front of the Upazila Parishad. Among others, Upazila Press Club President SR Saeed, Hasanpur Union Parishad Chairman Lecturer Julmat Ali, Haisawa Representative Nusrat Jahan Lovely, SKS Foundation Superviser Dalilur Rahman and others were present at the time.
Razia Khatun, a mechanic at the Upazila Public Health Engineering Department, participated in the hand washing exhibition.
