A prayer ceremony and mourning meeting was held at Bajidpur Paschimpara in Keshabpur on Friday evening marking the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The programme was organised by Ward No. 6 Awami League unit of Jashore's Keshabpur municipality. Keshabpur Municipal Mayor Rafiqul Islam addressed the meeting presided by Ward no. 6 AL unit President and former municipal councilor Monwar Hossain Mintu.
Municipal BCL unit leader Saiful Islam conducted the meeting while President of Keshabpur Press Club SR Saeed and National Workers League leader Munshur Ali were present as special guests.
