On the occasion of National Health and Welfare Day, a colorful rally, tree plantation and discussion meeting were held in Narail on Tuesday.
The 52nd founding anniversary of Department of Health, cake cutting was held at the conference room of Civil Surgeon's office at 11 am. Civil Surgeon's office organized the programme where Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Ashfaqul Haque Chowdhury spoke as the chief guest at discussion meeting.
Civil Surgeon Dr Sajeda Begum presided over the function while District Ansar VDP Commandant Bikash Chandra Das, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Subrata Kumar, Deputy Director of District Family Planning Office A,K,M Selim Bhuiyan, Dr Sujal Kumar Baksi, Police Inspector Nazmul Huda, Nursing Supervisor Madhuri Das, former Vice President of Narail Press Club Sultan Mahmood, Sub-Assistant Engineer of Public Works Department Anup Mondal were present in the occasion.
The guests planted saplings of Amalki, guava and krishnachura trees at the premises of Civil Surgeon office on the occasion.
