Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Past President and Council Member of ICAB, has been appointed as the member of the Board of Directors of Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA), at the Annual General Meeting (Assembly of Delegates) of CAPA held in Vancouver, Canada recently.
This newly constituted twelve members’ board, each elected from a different country, will serve for four years during the period of 2019-23. Nasir Uddin Ahmed has been a Council Member of ICAB since 2001 and was the President of ICAB in 2009. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant and currently Senior Partner of MABS and J Partners, Chartered Accountants. CAPA currently has a membership of 33 Accountancy Organizations from 24 countries in Asia Pacific and North American region.
