‘NASCIB playing a role in the country's economy’

Most of the population of the country is contributing to the economic growth of the country through small business. The National Association of Small and Cottage Industries of Bangladesh (NASCIB) is working for the development of new entrepreneurs.  NASCIB has been working to find areas of technical assistance ranging from advising small entrepreneurs on business development. Chattogram Committee will continue to support the entrepreneurs with training.

The speakers said this first meeting of the National Association of Small and Cottage Industries of Bangladesh (NASCIB) Chattogram Metropolitan Committee at a restaurant in the city on Saturday afternoon.

NASCIB Chattogram Metropolitan Committee President ASM Abdul Ghaffar Meyazi presided over the function.  The meeting was attended by Vice President AKM Mahfuzur Rahman, Engineer Md. Selim Chowdhury, Nargis Akter, Director Ferdous Shipon, Md. Jahangir Alam, Mohiuddin Mohammad Alamgir, Md. Abul Hossain, Md. Rajan Khan (Raju), Purabi Das, Md. Fakhrul Islam, Md.  Azizul Haque Babul, Anisur Rahman, Mohammad Mahfuzul Haque, Md.  Jahidul Islam Tanjir, Shakil Mahmud, Jasmine Akhter Jesse, Ajifa Khatun Bhuiyan.

 ASM Abdul Ghaffar Meyazi said NASCIB is a very old organization as an organization of small businessmen.  It is working collaboratively to make small entrepreneurs self-reliant.  The newly elected committee will continue to work to make Chattogram a small entrepreneur friendly.  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to bring 50 lakh young women and youth under training in the implementation of Vision 2041.  

NASCIB has been working with the government for a long time to develop the skills of entrepreneurs.  This will further increase the work activity of this organization in future.
