The newly appointed Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman of Narsingdi district exchanged views with the journalists in the conference room of the Superintendent of Police office on Wednesday.
Narsingdi Press Club president Md Habibur Rahman, senior vice-president Asadul Haque Palash, general secretary Md Humayun Kabir Shah, treasurer Mohammad Zainul Abedin, former president Makhan Das, journalists Setara Begum, Badal Kumar Saha, Biswajit Saha, AK Fazlul Haque, MA Awal, Haldhar Das, Mubarak Hossain, Abdul Hannan Bhuiyan, Sanjit Saha, Abul Bashar Basir, Suman Burman and others spoke on the occasion.
Narsingdi Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Anirban Chowdhury conducted the event, said a press release.
Journalists welcomed the new Superintendent of Police and expressed hope that the law and order situation in Narsingdi district would gradually improve under his leadership.
Mostafizur took charge as Superintendent of Police of Narsingdi on July 6.
