Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narail Mohammad Habibur Rahman visited Sultan Sangrahosala, Hatbaria Park and Bandhaghat which were situated on the bank on Chitra river.
The DC visited the historical places of the district on Friday. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-general) Md. Yarul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-Revenue) Md. Fakhrul Hasan, Nezarat Deputy Collectorate (NDC) Md Zahid Hasan and other officials of district administration were present at the time.
DC Habibur Rahman said that Bandhaghat and Hatbaria Zamindar Bari which were built by the then zamindars bears witness to the ancient history. A park is being constructed at Hatbaria Zamindar Bari with government funding. Visitors to the park will be able to enjoy pure bliss. Sultan Sangrahosala which build the residence of renowned painter SM Sultan. It will inspire new generation of painters. In a word Narail is witnessing the ancient history. He assured all kinds of cooperation in preserving the historical places.
