The Namaz-e-Janaza of Monowara Sikder, wife of the late Zainul Haque Sikder, founder of Sikder Group, will be held after Zuhr prayer) on Tuesday on the premises of Zainul Haque Sikder Medical College.
Mrs Monowara Sikder passed away on February 12 (Thursday) while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the United States (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un).
Monowara Sikder, 81-plus, former chairman of National Bank Limited, had long been suffering from various illnesses. She was surrounded by her children and other family members at the time of her passing.
Officials and employees of Sikder Group, as well as journalists and staff of Bangladesh Post, have expressed deep condolences at the death of Monowara Sikder and prayed for the eternal peace of her departed soul.
