‘Nadaner Biye’ staged at IU

‘Nadaner Biye’ a drama, has been staged at Mukto Moncho of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday. IU Theatre troupe staged the drama around 12pm in a function for newcomer reception festival by the organisation.

IU public administration department Professor Munshi Murtaza Ali was present as the chief guest while Islamic University Theatre troupe adviser and applied nutrition and food technology department official Gausul Azam Rintu was present as the special guest at the show.

‘Nadaner Biye’ has been directed by IU Theatre troupe general secretary M Anamul Haque while Badrul Amin Piyash, Nishat Anjum, Tanmoy Sen, Muyeed Hasan, Rezwan Ahamed, Abdul Momin Nahid, Tajnia Ahmed Labonno, Fahim Faisal and Kamrul Islam Sujon acted in the play.

Around two hundred students from various departments of IU gathered at the venue to enjoy the play. The drama reflects the bad effects of early marriage, the cruel story of husband and mother in law to a bride and the evil side of the dowry system.
