The Nabbana Utsab-1426 was celebrated in Kishoreganj on Saturday with much enthusiasm and festivity by holding various programmes. Marking the day, a colourful precession 'Nabbana Utsab' was brought out from old stadium premises in the morning.
Officers of district administration, members of different socio-cultural organisations and teachers and students from different educational institutions participated in the procession. The procession paraded the main roads of Kishoreganj and ended at Biam Labratories School premises.
District Administration arranged a discussion Meeting and Nabbana Festival on Biam Labratories School premises.
Later, a discussion meeting was held with Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Abdullah-al-Mashud in the chair. Deputy Commissioner Md. Sarowar Murshed Chowdhury was present at the event as the chief guest.
It was addressed, among others, by Deputy Director of Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) Md. Motiur Rahman, district Krishek League General Secretary Anwar Hossain Baccu, district Mohila Awami League Joint Covenber Bilkis Begum, and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abdul Kadir Mia.
