Three more victims of the explosions at BaitusSalatJame Mosque in Narayanganj’sFatullah succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital Dhaka.
Thirty one people, including a child, so far died from burn injuries sustained in the blast which took place on Friday on September 4.
Talking to the Bangladesh Post on Thursday, DrParthaShangkar Paul, Residential Doctor of the Institute confirmed it.
The deceased were identified as Sheikh Farid, 21, AbdusSattar, 40, and Nazrul Islam, 50. They died while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of the burn institute.
He said AbdusSattar, Sheikh Farid, and NazrulIslam were undergoing treatment in the ICU with 70%, 93%, and 94% burns on their bodies respectively.
According to DrPartha, the five remaining victims who are currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital are in critical condition.
