Mostain Billah took charge from outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jasimuddin as a new Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate for Narayanganj district on Monday. On the occasion, a simple ceremony was held at the auditorium of DC office of Narayanganj in the morning.
New DC Mostain Billah hailed from Barguna district and is an official of 21st batch of BCS. The outgoing DC Jasimuddin was an official 20th BCS batch and posted at the finance ministry.
The past Deputy Commissioner Jasimuddin being affectionate to recalling the inhabitant of Narayanganj he posted in his facebook in poetry language that touched people’s mind as his last line “remember I was with you”. After taking duties new Deputy Commissioner Mostain Billah introduced with his subordinate officials. He was earlier Deputy Commissioner of Barguna district.
In his reaction, Mostain Billah said that he is happy as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narayanganj. He will work for the district sincerely and honestly.
