The detective branch (DB) police in Jhenidah with their confidence and hard work detected the clue of murder case of a farmer in Harinakundu upazila of Jhenidah. A blood clotted cap left by one of the killers had helped the law enforcers to detect the clue at last.
Jhenidah DB police officer in-charge Anwar Hossain said the body of farmer Nur Islam alias Buro was recovered from the field of Dakhalpur Belemath in Harinakundu police station on May 5 last year.
Buro’s brother Azizul Islam filed a murder case against some unknown persons with the police on the day. Although the police men had arrested a single accused, the prime accused and their associates could not be netted.
Later the case was shifted to Jhenidah DB on November 29 for investigation. As per the guidelines of police super Hasanuzzaman, inspector Nazrul Islam led y DB Officer in charhe Anwar Hossain started investigation.
The police had so far arrested three of the accused Matichur Rahman, son of late Musa Mollah and Zinarul Islam, son of Korban Ali of Barishkhali village and Shamim, son of Sabar Mollah.
Police super Hasanuzzaman told the media activists that they have arrested three of the killers and conducting drives to net the remaining accused at any cost.
Azizul Islam, a brother of the deceased Buro’s expressing his reaction over the activities of the DB police had thanked the police men for their hard work in dtecting the clue of the clueless murder case.
