Pabna college students formed a human chain and staged demonstration on Sunday demanding exemplary punishment of the killers of Bikram Saha Shaisab.
Bikram Saha, son of Gopal Saha of Singra Palpara of the district town, is a student of HSC first year of the college.
The students of Government Bulbul College of Pabna staged the demonstration. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner and Police Super of Pabna.
The students formed a human chain in front of Pabna Press Club. At that time, Shaisab Saha’s elder brother Pradip Kumar, class mates Shourav Ahmed, Mahfujur Rahman, Abdullah Al Mamun and Taru Hasan spoke there.
Students said, Getting order from the accused drug trader Kabir Ahmed Babu alias Kota Babu, some miscreants chopped Bikram Saha to spot dead when he distributed Invitation card on Pahela Baishakh on April 12.
A case was filed with the local police station accusing 16 people. Police detained some people without main culprits. They also threaded the victim’s family to withdraw the case.
