‘Mukhosh’ released in 38 theatres

Director Ittekhar Shuvo’s highly-anticipated film titled ‘Mukhosh’, finally released in 38 theatres across the country on Friday March 4, starring Mosharraf Karim, Pori Moni, Roshan and Iresh Zaker, among others.

The government-granted film ‘Mukhosh’ is based on Iftekhar Shuvo's novel 'Page Number 44', who also directed and produced the film. It focuses on the mysteries in the life of thriller writer Ibrahim Khaledi. In the film there are three main characters Roshan who will be seen playing the role of a superstar, actress Pori Moni as a journalist and Mosharraf Karim as a writer. There are also Iresh Zaker, Pran Roy, Alangkar, Ilina Shammi, Tareq Swapan, Azad Abul Kalam, Rashed Mamun Apu and others have also featured. 

Earlier, the film got stuck even after getting an uncut clearance. The film got the certificate from Bangladesh Film Censor Board as it was the director’s first film. However, the movie was planned to be released on January 21. The plan has to be postponed due to the increase in Corona infection. Recently, due to the low incidence of corona, 'Mukhosh' joined the release procession again.

Before the release, a special screening of the movie was organised at the Bashundhara City branch of STAR Cineplex on March 2. Pori Moni, along with other stars and media personalities, attended the screening.

The movie produced under the banner of Bachelor Dot Com production will be distributed by COP Creation, a film production and distribution studio.
