Former Railways Minister and Cumilla South District Unit Awami League General Secretary freedom fighter Mujibul Haque said, “Bangabandhu daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had nominated me with party ticket to contest the elections eight times but I came out successful four times.
This time our party president gave me nomination to contest the upcoming polls.
Hope I will be elected MP with your vote”.
“Vote for me means vote for Sheikh Hasina. I appeal to you to give me the chance of serving you for the 5th time.
I am the son of farmer like you. So, I deserve your votes, ”the former minister added.
Mr Haque said, I have brought about a tremendous development in the whole Chauddagram Upazila.
I never compromised with the terrorists, gave donations to educational institutions and try hard to solve different socio-economic problems of the locals as soon as possible.
He was speaking in an election campaign at Khhironshal Fazil Madrasa Field in Munshirhat Union of Chaddagram Upazila recently.
Abul Kasem, President, Munshirhat Union Awami League presided over the meeting.
Among others, GM Mir Hossain Miru, Poura Mayor and Senior Vice-President, Partho Sarothi Dutt, Joint General Secretary, District Awami League, Principal Rahamat Ullah Bablu, General Secretary, Chauddagram Awami League and renowned businessman and industrialist Kamal Uddin, a member of District Awami League were present there.
