‘Moyur Shinghashon’ is a popular play of the popular theatre troupe Arannak. This was first staged in 1999 and in 2009 the play was staged for the hundredth time. After this the play was not regularly staged by any theatre troupe.
This time after a two-year interval the play is going to be staged on October 8 at 7:00pm at Bangladesh Mahila Samity in the capital. This is going to be the 32nd production of Arannak. Shah Alam Dulal has directed by play written by Mannan Hira.
About this, director Shah Alam Dulal said, "There is a prevailing notion in our society that people close to power are patriotic. But beyond the political party and power, we do not have the habit of seeing how the flame of patriotism is ignited among the great masses. But so many heroes have been weighed down under rulers, and still is being weighed down. We never keep their count. Whenever this show happens, I get a good response from the audience.”
Mamunur Rashid, Mannan Hira, Momena Chowdhury, Tamalika Karmakar, Amanul Haque Helal, Parimal Majumder, Aminul Haque, Amin Azad and many others will act in the play.
