Moutushi Biswas, one of the most popular faces on the small screen, eagerly waited for a long time to see her in a web series with an amazing story. Finally, the wait is over for the versatile actor as she has recently started working in her maiden web series titled ‘Puff Daddy’, which offers a thrilling story. The web series is written and directed by Masud Hasan Ujjal.
Alongside Moutushi, the star-studded casts of ‘Puff Daddy’ includes Pijush Bandyopadhyay, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Azad Abul Kalam, Bijori Barkatullah and Intekhab Dinar, among others.
Direct Ujjal said about Moutushi’s role in this 10-episode web series, “Moutushi will be seen playing as Kamala, who is the assistant of a street magician in ‘Puff Daddy’. Because of her respect, love and fascination towards the magician, she performs many dangerous stunts in front of the audience. Later, their relationship falls apart.”
Moutushi said about working on her first web series, “I waited so long for working in a web series with a wonderful story. At last, my long-awaited wish has been granted as I am given a chance to work in ‘Puff Daddy’ under the direction of Ujjal Bhai (director Ujjal). I am truly very happy because I got an opportunity to work alongside some talented artistes of our showbiz industry. Also, my character Kamala is also very challenging.”
“Though I was a little bit nervous in the beginning of the shooting, I have tried my best to portray my character appropriately. Undoubtedly, Masud Hasan Ujjal is a brilliant writer and director,” the actress added.
The shooting of ‘Puff Daddy’ is currently underway in Mawa and it will be released on a YouTube channel soon.
