Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association will hold its election on 25th October. Film star Moushumi and actor Misha Saodagar are contesting for position of president.
For the last few days, each side has been aiming one complaint after another against the opponent. But now, both sides have pledged to support one another. Misha and Moushumi made these claims on Saturday at the Film Artistes' Association.
Misha Saodagar said, ‘When I am upset, Moushumi is upset and vice-versa. We sympathize with each other’s pain.’
Moushumi cut in and said, ‘I said the same thing. If Misha is elected, I will support him. If I am elected, I want him to be by my side as well.’
The chief election commissioner for this year’s Film Artistes' Association election is actor Ilias Kanchan. General Secretary of Film Producers' Association Shamsul Alam Khan is the chairman of the 3-member appeal board. The other two members are director Sohanur Rahman and Rashidul Amin.
