Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, MP from Faridpur-3 constituency, handed over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the working journalists of Faridpur at a function at his Badarpur residence in the district town on Monday.
He handed over 50 sets of PPE to Imtiaz Hasan Rubel, President of Faridpur Press Club. He also handed over another 50 sets of PPE to private television NTV families on the occasion. Journalists from different print and electronic media of the district were present at that time.
Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said that the journalists have been playing a vital role in all the crisis time. The journalists have to face serious risk and danger and have to be saved from the infection of COVID-19 while performing their duties, he added.
He also said that the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will overcome the corona crisis if we follow the health instructions.
