The coming back of the Jeet-Koel jodi, often referred to as JeKo, has been good news enough for movie lovers, and it doubled the fun when news surfaced that the film, Shesh Theke Shuru, is directed by none other than Raj Chakrabarty. The three of them are coming together after nine years and that has made the Eid release something to look forward to. But the film has many surprises in store. Bollywood composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee is also foraying into Tollywood with this film.

In the acting department, while Ritabhari Chakraborty plays an important role in the film, ‘Tridha’ Choudhury is the female voice that narrates the story. Both the actors announced the news on social media in recent times. And now, it has emerged that the film also stars Saptarshi Maulik in a bit role. Saptarshi comes from theatre and has acted in many Nandikar plays such as Mrityunjay, Panchajanya, Byatikrom and many others. Said a source close to the unit, “Saptarshi had worked in two television movies. Raj noticed him on TV and offered him the role. He plays one of the brothers of Ritabhari and will be seen as a part of a rival clan.”

The story kicks off from a point when the lead pair — Jeet and Koel — meets on a flight. The plot then goes on to take a turn. In fact, the film covers incidents over three different timelines and for each period, the makeup of the actors will change. Raj had last worked with Jeet in ‘Abhimaan’.
