A meeting of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority Assistance Committee, Khulna Division, was held at the conference room of Divisional Commissioner on Sunday. Executive Chairman of BIDA Sirajul Islam attended the meeting as the chief guest.
BIDA Chairman Sirajul Islam said, the BIDA was working to flourish local and foreign investment. The more the investors, the more the acceleration of the wheels of economic development of the country. Aiming to increase the investment, the government was imparting training to young people through various ministry to make entrepreneurs, he added.
He mentioned Khulna as a traditional industrial zone of the southern region and said, with the inauguration of the Padma Bridge, many new industries will be set up in Khulna with a scope of huge employment. Presided over by Additional Divisional Commissioner( Revenue) Shuvas Chandra Saha, the meeting was addressed, among others by Additional Divisional Commissioner ( Development) Syed Rabiul Alam, Additional Divisional Commissioner(General)
