Month-long programme of Prachyanat

For the first time since the country was infected with Corona, on August 26, the stage was opened for the first time with ‘Lal Jomin’. This time Prachyanat, one of the country’s leading drama groups, is organizing a month-long exhibition.

The name of the event arranged with their five plays is ‘Mahala Magan’. The courtyard will be a drama festival with the slogan ‘Aboshad Biruddhosrot’. It will start on September 4 in the Prachyanat rehearsal room of Kataban in the capital.

The group told the media that there will be one exhibition for only 20 spectators. The ticket price is 200 rupees.

It is learned that ‘The Zoo Story’ will be screened at the fair on September 4 and 5 at 7 pm. The play was translated into Bengali by Ashfaqul Ashekin. Directed by Kazi Taufiqul Islam Emon.

‘The Dumb Waiter’ will be screened on September 11 and 12 at 7 pm. It was translated by Rabiul Alam from Harold Pinter. It is under the direction of Shawkat Hossain Sajib.

‘Hundred by Hundred’ will be screened on September 18 and 19 at 7 pm. It was written and directed by Saiful Journal. It is from the novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Md. Shawkat Hossain Sajib translated it. Directed by Kazi Taufiqul Islam Emon. It will be screened on September 25 and 26 at 7 pm.

And next month, on October 2 and 3, at 7 pm, ‘Faust Othoba Onno Keu’ will be screened. It is based on Goethe’s audio drama ‘Faust’. Tanji Kun is in the direction.
