National Board of Revenue (NBR) handed over the World Customs Organization (WCO) Certificate of Merit to Mongla Port Authority as the recognition of admirable contribution with Bangladesh Customs. The certifucate was handed over on Wednesday.
Finance Minister A H M Mustafa Kamal handed over the certificate at a seminar at the Dhaka International Convention Center at Bashundhora in the capital.
Engineer Md Altaf Hossain Khan, member (Engineering and Development) on behalf of Mongla Port Authority received the certificate. He said that they are happy over the recognition.
It is mentionable, Mongla Port Authority in FY2018-19 achieved highest profit Tk133 crore and 61 thousands. Which was Tk109 crore in FY2017-2018.
