Popular Bangladeshi model-actress Mozeza Ashraf Monalisa, known for her astral performance in both acting and modeling industry in the country, has received praises from the audiences of New York Fashion Week for her walk on the fashion runway.
The illustrious model has just added another feather in her cap by representing Bangladeshi fashion in the US.
Currently staying at the United States of America (USA), Monalisa appeared as one of the models in a runway show at New York Fashion Week representing Bangladeshi apparels designed by renowned designers.
Sources said that Monalisa walked the runway wearing a sari designed by her mother.
Participating in the fashion show, she said, “I always try to think of ways to bring out Bangladesh’s essence abroad. In order to do that, I try to represent my country’s culture through me in as much lively way as possible. I am a proud Bangladeshi and it was an honour for me to represent Bangladesh through the fashion show.”
“I participated in the event wearing a sari designed by mother. I want to thank the authorities who are responsible for letting me represent Bangladesh through the New York Fashion Week”, Monalisa added further.
