‘Lal Jomin’ is a play by Shunnon Repertory Theatre. Momena Chowdhury has acted alone in this. Momena Chowdhury will stage the drama from today until January 27 continuously for eight days. Today it will be the 224th staging in Rajbari. It will next be staged at Chattogram University on January 17, at Gosarirhat of Shariatpur on January 21, Bhedarganj on January 22, Damuda upazila on January 23, Naria Upazila on January 25, Shariatpur Sadar on January 26 and Jajira of Shariatpur on January 27 will have its 231st staging.
Mannan Hira has written the play 'Lal Jomin', directed by Sudeep Chakraborty. The first stage of the play was held on May 19, 2011. The drama has been staged more than two hundred times already.
About this, Momena Chowdhury said, “I am very grateful to my family for the exemption my family has given me in bringing ‘Lal Jomin’ to this stage. It is not possible to continue acting for an artiste without the support of the family. In the country and abroad, many have already enjoyed the play. They praised ‘Lal Jomin’.
