The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has bolstered their coaching staff by appointing Mohsin Sheikh on Monday, an Australian cricket analyst of Pakistani descent, as the national team's performance analyst for a two-year term starting in May 2024.

This isn't Sheikh's first foray into Bangladeshi cricket. He impressed the BCB with his work as the team's analyst during the successful white-ball tour of New Zealand in December 2023. He'll be joining the squad in time to analyze their performance in the upcoming T20 series against Zimbabwe.

Sheikh brings a wealth of experience to the role. He's previously honed his skills with the Afghanistan national team, the Pakistan Cricket Board, and even Cricket Australia. Beyond international cricket, his expertise extends to the high-octane world of T20 leagues.

He's served as a performance analyst for teams in marquee tournaments like the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Indian Premier League (IPL), and the Big Bash League (BBL). This diverse background suggests Sheikh can provide valuable insights to help Bangladesh achieve cricketing success.
