Modern technology brings globe before common people

Jhenidah-1 MP speaks at smart NID card distribution function in Shailkupa

The people are being involved with modern technologies to avail better services in every sector as the country is marching towards a developed country under the leadership Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. People of the country are now familiar with modern technology. 

“Now we are not the bottomless basket as some powerful states slapped the blame immediate after the independence war of 1971”, said MP of Jhenidah-1 constituency Abdul Hyee.

He, also president of Jhenidah district unit of Awami League, said these while speaking as the chief guest at a gathering following distribution of smart national identity (NID) card at the conference room of Shailkupa Upazila Parishad on Monday. 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Usman Gani presided over the function, chairman of Shailkupa Upazila Parishad Shikder Mosharraf Hossain, district election officer Rokanuzzaman, former commander of Jhenidah district unit of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sanshad Makbul Hossain and U/P chairman Matiar also spoke it, among others.

Abdul Hyee said that the people should avail modern technology in the digitalized world. 

As Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is confident enough about her vision and mission, she started marching a real Sonar Bangla that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman dreamed in his life, he said.

He also said, “We should work to gain the confidence and trust of the common people, especially, rural men and women on ruling Awami League led by Sheikh Hasina.” 

Describing the characteristics of the smart national identity card, the MP said that the ultra-modern technology like the ID card has opened the globe before the common people as it was enriched with adequate information about a citizen. 

The people should utilize the card safely, said Abdul Hyee.
