Modern public toilet being built in Ishwardi

The construction work of a new modern public toilet was inaugurated by demolishing the old public toilet at the Post Office More in Ishwardi town of Pabna on Thursday noon.

Ishwardi Municipal Mayor Ishaq Ali Malitha inaugurated the construction of the new public toilet.

Municipal Secretary Zahurul Islam, Executive Engineer Abdul Awal, Upazila Public Health Engineer Mahabul Islam, Pakshi UP Chairman Enamul Haque Biswas, Panel Mayor Councilor Abul Hashem and others were present on the occasion.

Upazila Public Health Engineer Mahabul Islam said a hygienic and modern public toilet is being constructed at the post office corner in the busiest area of the city with the funding of the Department of Public Health Engineering. 

This toilet will have three toilets and a bath room. It will cost Tk 6 lakh to build. Pabna contractor Noor Construction will complete the construction of the toilet.

On the same day, Mayor Ishaq Ali Malitha inaugurated the construction of three separate roads in wards 4, 5 and 6 of the municipality.
