Model mosque in Chuadanga district town was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina virtually through video conference on Thursday.
Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam Sarker, Police Super Jahidul Islam, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation ABM Robiul Islam and Joint Secretary of District Awami League Riazul Islam Joarder Toton attended the inauguration programme.
The mosque is built at Wabdapara area in Chuadanga town. A total of tk 14 crore 14 lakh was estimated to construct this four storied mosque.
It is to be mentioned here that about 1200 people can pray in the mosque in a time.
Besides, this mosque has the facility of separate female prayer hall like other model mosques across the country.
