Mobile veterinary clinic operates in Gurudaspur

The activities of the mobile veterinary clinic provided by the L DDP project of the Directorate of Animal Resources of Bangladesh have been inaugurated. On Saturday, the service program was inaugurated by local MP Natore District Awami League President Professor Md Abdul Quddus.

No need to go to livestock office for treatment of cattle anymore. Just call the hot number 16358 and the veterinary clinic team will reach the farmer's house.

For the first time, a veterinary mobile clinic was launched in Gurdaspur. Animal Resources Office of Gurdaspur has started this mobile service program. Pets and pets will be provided free of charge.

Upazila Vice Chairman Alal Sheikh, Women Vice Chairman Roksana Aktar Lipi, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Abu Rasel, Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain and others were present.

While there is a veterinary hospital for the convenience of local farmers, the beneficiaries are happy to have the services of a mobile clinic at their doorstep. The authority said that this service will be delivered to all farmers and family levels including the 6 unions and municipalities of the upazila.

Beneficiaries Anwar Hossain, Ashraf and Kobad Ali said, "We are very happy to have a mobile clinic. Many of our cows died because we could not take the animal to the hospital on time. It won't be like that anymore. Animal Resources Officer Dr. Alamgir Hossain said, the mobile clinic will reach the farmers and farmers only by calling the mobile clinic. Farmers no longer have to worry about livestock. Just call our team will go to the specified destination. There will be a veterinary doctor, dresser and driver in the team. There will be air-conditioned box for storing medicine, he said.

The local MP said, on the occasion of Mujib year, veterinary mobile clinic activities have been launched across the country. Hope all the farmers of Gurdaspur and Baraigram Upazila will benefit from it. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given a state-of-the-art vehicle for the operation of the mobile clinic worth Tk 52 lakh in each of the 360 upazilas of the country to ensure health services for people as well as cattle.
