Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam said the field administration has been strongly instructed to run mobile courts or mobile courts to force people to wear masks to prevent corona virus.
The cabinet secretary said this at a briefing at the secretariat after the cabinet meeting on Monday.
The cabinet secretary said the general discussion in the cabinet was that people should at least be aware.
It has been seen that the awareness among many has decreased a little and it needs to be increased further.
Stressing on the need to be vigilant to prevent coronavirus infection, Anwarul Islam said, “These have been brought into the campaign and if possible, mobile courts can be set up in some cases. These issues have been discussed in the secretary committee on Sunday. I have also told the field administration that we have to go for enforcement.”
The cabinet secretary also said that the government would launch a campaign to make everyone use masks.

The Secretary said, “in particular, the Ministry of Information has asked for more massive publicity. We have to physically go to the field with the mic, with the billboard so that people are a little more careful. The Ministry of Information has been specifically asked. I have made a very strong recommendation in the meeting of the Secretary Committee.”
