A mobile apps named 'Khulnar Newspaper' was launched on Monday morning to bring all the daily newspapers and online news portals of Khulna together in one place.
Deputy Chief Information Officer of Khulna Regional Information Office M. Javed Iqbal inaugurated the app in his office. Sports Reporter of Khulna-based local newspaper ‘Dakshinanchal Pratidin’ Anwar Ahmed Moon created the app at his personal initiative.
The app includes links to more than 50 local newspapers, e-papers and online news portals published from Khulna. Local news of Khulna as well as national and international news can be found in this app. The app can be easily downloaded from Google Play Store.
Milon Hossain, news editor of ‘Dakshinanchal Pratidin’, Joynal Faraji, office secretary of Khulna Journalists Union, SM Bahauddin, vice-president of Khulna Photojournalist Association and others were present at the inauguration ceremony.
