Raag musician Ariful Islam Mithu is back after 13 years with his unique style. His last album ‘Gaaner Jolashoi’ came out in 2006. His new song ‘Majhraate’ released on the occasion of Eid. He also released his first music video along with it.
The song is composed by Md Ishak and written by Safiuddin Sikder. The song’s musical direction was given by Rocket Mondol. The music video starring Maruf and Jerry as well as Mithu himself, was directed by Alamgir Hossain.
In response to why he took such a long break, Mithu said that he never stopped singing. He continued to sing at private functions and family events. But he was not interested in making more albums as it was hard to get sponsors and due to lack of royalties. ‘Majhrate’ is a romantic composition and Mithu hopes people of all ages can enjoy the song. The music video of the song was released on Dhruba Music Station (DMS) YouTube channel this Sunday.
