Rafiath Rashid Mithila, a popular Bangladeshi model and actress, will play the lead role in a new Kolkata movie called 'Meghla' soon.
The movie revolves around a young girl named Meghla who was raised in an orphanage and later finds love with a doctor named Abir. When Abir goes missing, Meghla struggles to find him.
The movie is Written directed by Arnab K Middya and stars several other actors, including Gaurav Chakrabarty, Arno Mukherjee, and Biswaroop Banerjee, Sion Ghosh, Amit Saha, Deepak Halder, and many others.
The release date of the movie is not yet announced. Mithila is also working on several other projects, including 'Jole Jole Tara,' 'Kajol Rekha,' 'Neetishastra,' 'Nuiachhorir Sonar Pahar,' 'Myself Allen Swapan,' and 'Maya.' Mithila has described 'Meghla' as a story about how a simple woman can transform into a powerful force against injustice. The movie is currently being filmed in different locations in Kolkata and Siliguri.
While talking about the movie 'Meghla,' Mithila told media that the movie follows a story of a happy and vivacious young woman named Meghla. She was raised in an orphanage. Now, married to a forensic medicine doctor, she hasn’t forgotten how she spent her formative years. Meghla does her best to support other orphaned children. However, one day she discovers the body of a young girl of the orphanage, raped and murdered.
Mithila also said that she is currently shooting the movie. While talking in this regard, she said, “We will shoot in different locations in Kolkata and Siliguri. This movie is all about how a simple woman can transform into a mighty force of nature to fight against injustice.”
While talking about her upcoming projects, Mithila informed that the government granted movie titled 'Jole Jole Tara' has been submitted to the Censor Board. While the actress has completed dubbing for the Gias Uddin Selim directed movie titled 'Kajol Rekha.' She has also completed the shooting of another Kolkata’s movie titled 'Neetishastra.' This movie is garnering accolades in different international film festivals, according to the actress.
Meanwhile, Mithila has also completed the shooting of the children’s movie titled 'Nuiachhorir Sonar Pahar,' and this Eid-ul-Fitr she will be seen in the Chorki original project titled 'Myself Allen Swapan.' Mithila starrer another Tollywood movie titled 'Maya' also awaits release.
