Popular actor Rafiath Rashid Mithila's younger sister, Missouri Rashid has been doing advertisements for four years. Now Missouri Rashid will debut in film.
She is starring in the short film 'Shironamhin', directed by Giasuddin Selim. The shooting took place on Monday (January 13) at New Market in Dhaka. The newcomer actor is playing a central role in the movie.
Missouri Rashid said, ‘Although I started my career through my family, now I am acting in my own right. I have done many advertisements including for several mobile operators. A year ago, I played a central role in a drana by Suborna Mustafa madam. That was my first time acting. Then I took a break from it. Now I have started working again.’
The young actor worked in the drama ‘Pizza Bhai’ by Nuhash Humayun a few days ago. It is currently waiting to be broadcast.
Apart from acting, Missouri has worked as an assistant to critically acclaimed director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury.
She said, ‘I have a lot of desire to work behind the camera. That is why I worked as an assistant director. I learned many different things. If everything goes well and the opportunity arises I will actually directing as well. '
Missouri Rashid is currently studying Media and Communication at a private university in the capital. She said that she will complete graduation after one semester.
