Popular actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila visited her in-laws in Kolkata along with her daughter Ayra on June 30. The actress has taken part in Raajhorshee De’s upcoming film titled ‘Mayaa’, inspired by William Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth, will attempt to champion the cause of women's empowerment and bring minority communities to the forefront.
It is Mithila’s debut film which also features Sudipta Chakraborty, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Koneenica Banerjee, Rahul Banerjee, Ranieeta Das, Anindya Chatterjee, Tanushree Chakraborty, Sudipta Bannerjee and Gaurav Chakrabarty.
On the other hand, director husband Srijit Mukherjee is also vocal in his work. The director, producer is currently in Mumbai for the shooting of 'Shabash Mithu' and that is why Mithila's Mumbai tour is going on.
The actress has recently shared some pictures on social media with her husband and daughter.
It is learnt that Mithila has never visited Mumbai like this before. Few days ago in a show of Kolkata’s she said that it herself that she had a strong desire to visit Mumbai and that's why she wrote in the caption 'Yeh hai Bombay meri jaan.'
