A class 9 student, Sabikur Noor (14), remains missing for 20 days amidst accusations of abduction. The family alleges she was taken by Saheed Biswas after rejecting his love affairs offers, with little police progress since.
Sabikur, daughter of Md. Sarwar Hossain from Ujangram, Kushtia, vanished on June 9, allegedly with Saheed Biswas and others. Despite filing a case, her father expressed frustration over police efforts.
"We repeatedly warned Saheed, but he abducted our daughter with others," lamented Sarwar Hossain, who filed a case at Islami University Police Station.
SI Yusuf Ali Shahin confirmed one arrest but acknowledged ongoing efforts to locate Sabikur. The family, however, criticises the police for not doing enough to find her, voicing disappointment over the delay.
