Coming out from his routine life completely dedicated to acting and directorial ventures, versatile actor-director Mir Sabbir has recently worked as a model in a television commercial (TVC) after three years.
Featured as the first ever male model in any TVC of Vim Liquid in Bangladesh, Sabbir performed under the direction of Sakib Fahad. After completion of its making recently, the TVC is currently being aired on almost every TV channel of the country from August 1.
Sabbir is receiving huge response for his appearance in the TVC, he informed. “Frankly speaking, the TVC is being aired round the clock on various TVC channels. So, there’s less chance that the audience misses it on screen. As a result, I am getting incredible response from the audience,” the model-actor said about the TVC.
“Telling the truth, I am very selective about working in the TVC. The story of this TVC completely revolves around me. I am grateful to the management of Vim Liquid. I felt really wonderful to work under the direction of Sakib Fahad, who provided me an opportunity to work in an organised unit,” Sabbir added further.
Sabbir worked as model for the last time in 2016 for a TVC of Grameenphone directed by Ashfaquzzaman Bipul. His appearance as Faizul in the TVC created huge buzz at that time.On the other hand, Sabbir-directed Eid special drama ‘Bap Beta Couple Ticket’ will be released on his own YouTube channel during the Eid-ul-Adha.
