A seven-year-old minor boy drowned at Raipura upazila of Narsingdi on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Zidan Mia, son of Ziaur Rahman of Thanahati village at the upazila.
Relatives of Zidan said that Zidan went to take bath under Panthahsala Bridge and did not return home.
Later, his body was retrieved from there around 1pm. Mayor of Raipura Municipality Jamal Molla and Raipura Police Station inspector visited the spot.
