A court in Barguna on Sunday rejected the bail petition of Ayesha Siddika Minni, main witness in sensational Rifat murder case.
She is also the wife of Rifat Sharif.
Barguna Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Md Sirajul Islam Gazi rejected the bail after hearing on the appeal.
Earlier in the morning, Minni's lawyer Adv Mahbubul Alam Bari filed a bail plea seeking her bail.
On Friday, Minni confessed her involvement in the murder of her husband Rifat Sharif before a Barguna court.
On June 26, Rifat Sharif, 22, was hacked to death by criminals in front of his wife Minni in broad daylight in the district town.
