Teachers, parents and students are being misled on various social media platforms about opening of educational institutions, HSC and equivalent examination dates. The Ministry of Education has warned that this confusion is being created by fake Facebook pages and profiles operating in the name of the Ministry of Education.

In a press release, the Ministry of Education urged the teachers, parents and students to be vigilant in this regard and continue their studies without listening to any rumors.

The press release, sent by MA Khair, Information and Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Education, called on the people not to believe fake information on any page or social media.

The statement from the Ministry of Education said, “No decision has been taken yet on when the educational institutions will be reopened due to health risks and when the HSC and equivalent examinations will be held. If there is a suitable situation to take the test then the test will be taken and the date will be informed through media. If a suitable environment exists, the decision will be taken to open the educational institution.”

A fake page called the Ministry of Education Board reads, “The decision on the HSC exam is final. The HSC examination is starting from October 15 in accordance with the health rules. The routine will be published on October 1 - Ministry of Education.” This is completely false.

Note that the Ministry of Education has a verified Facebook page. No one should be confused by believing the information on any other page. If necessary, take a look at the verified page. The verified page of the Ministry of Education is https://www.facebook.com/moebdgov.
