Commerce Ministry has taken a comprehensive plan to monitor the purchase, sale, collection, storage and application of salted in raw hides of the sacrificial animal skins during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, reports BSS.
To implement the plan, central joint coordinating committee of the Commerce Ministry, central coordinating and monitoring committee, control room, special monitoring team for Dhaka and Natore districts, monitoring team comprising of departments and agencies under the Ministry of Commerce for divisional and district and all district level consumer protection department officials will work from the day of Eid-ul-Azha, said a press release.
The outline and scope of work of the teams was finalized today at a workshop.
Commerce Secretary Md Jafar Uddin presided over the workshop held at the conference room of the ministry.
