Popular actress Bidya Sinha Mim is playing the role of Indian RAW Agent Sulata Roy in a film based on fiction writer Kazi Anwar Hossain's popular spy thriller series 'Masud Rana'.

Asif Akbar, a Hollywood director of Bangladeshi descent, is making a film titled 'MR-9', a joint production of Jazz Multimedia and Hollywood's Silver Nine, based on the series 'Destruction Hill'.

A week ago, Mim signed a deal with Jazz, Mim said. “I have to practice fighting for the need of the character”, she added.

The actress said that if the situation is favorable during the epidemic, she will join the shooting in February next year.

Sulata, the protagonist of the novel ‘Destroyed Hills’, is 24 or 25 years old and grew up in Lakhnow to an advocate father. After graduating from Lady Brabourne College in Kolkata, she joined the Secret Service of India.

At the end of one and a half years of working life, following a seven-day special training, she was sent to Bangladesh by helicopter via Kolkata Border. In the first expedition of her life, she met the central character of the series Masud Rana.

With red Tip or Bindi of Kumkum on the forehead, pink lipstick on the lips, tuberose ornamented bun, Shulata appears in the series wearing Katan sari, dozens of bangles in the right hand and Rolgold watch in the left hand.

Earlier, Jazz Multimedia had named Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor in the role. However, Shraddha denied the information at that time.
