Army personnel will be deployed across the country from tomorrow (Wednesday) to help maintain law and order before, during, and after the upcoming 12th general election slated for January 7. The troops will perform the duties till January 10.
They will extend support to the local civil administration under the “In Aid to the Civil Power” initiative in all 300 constituencies of Bangladesh from January 3 to January 10 to conduct the national election in a free, fair, impartial, and peaceful manner.
The army personnel will be stationed at vital locations in each district, upazila, and metropolitan area.
Their deployment in these areas will be coordinated with the returning officer, ensuring collaboration with the district/upazila/police station authorities. The force will set up and operate coordination cells as required at different locations. The election commission has already deployed all the forces needed including Police, RAB, and BGB. And Army personnel are set to break the past records to make the polls free and fair. Now law enforcing agencies and army personnel are working under the Election Commission in line with the country’s Constitution. Therefore, we can say the EC has taken all-out measures to create a peaceful atmosphere so that voters can come to polling centres without fear across the country.
It seems that BNP has fled from the field of politics after being rejected by the people due to its foul politics. So, people now pose question where is the BNP?
There are 1,896 candidates in the electoral race while BNP leaders are hatching conspiracies against the elections since the beginning of the schedule.
The election commission has
already deployed all the forces
needed including Police, RAB, and BGB
They (BNP) were born with sabotage, so it is very usual that they will do it. But, we believe our security forces are quite alert about it as well as intelligence agencies.
Countrymen will not give evil forces any shelter as they do not want to go back to the darkness. Law enforcement agencies are working keeping in mind the BNP’s campaign against elections. Therefore, none will be spared if any untoward situation is created in the upcoming 12th general election as the EC has organised everything properly to hold the elections in a fair manner. It is the choice of any political party whether it will take part in polls or not, but intimidating or resisting by any party is a punishable offence under the Election Act. In this case, law enforcement agency or returning officer will take action against it
Conspiracy from home and abroad has started centring the upcoming general election. BNP and their followers are carrying out sneak attacks in different areas across the country. If they (BNP) do not shun politics of violence and arson terrorism, the party will disappear from political arena due to their terrorist activities. Political parties, which boycotted election after the independence of the country, have disappeared from politics.
The people of Bangladesh, motivated by the spirit of the War of Liberation, believe that the BNP would not be able to foil the election by carrying out subversive activities. BNP has set “an agent to murder a renowned leader.
The directive came from London. Tarique Rahman doesn’t have courage, if he did he would come to the country
Therefore, the spirit of the great War of Liberation is very important for us, as people of Bangladesh will get awakened with that spirit, and they will pull the country forward further in the future with the ideals of the Liberation War.
We believe voters will come to polling stations and respond to anti-election conspiracies with their votes on the election day on January 7.
People of the county have been waiting for the election and nobody has power to foil the election by hindrance. Therefore, voter turnout will be satisfactory despite intimidation.
