The family members of the victims in the Milestone military aircraft crash on Tuesday formed a human chain in Diabari outside the main gate of Milestone School and College to press home their eight-point demand.
The family members of the victims, who were killed and injured in the fighter jet crash, gathered in front of the main gate of the school and formed a human chain around 7:50 am which ended at 10:40 pm.
Some 100-150 guardians and students participated in the human chain.
They also demanded a proper investigation and speedy justice and to stop the coaching business in all educational institutions across the country.
The other demands are: Tk 5 crore compensation from the government for each deceased and Tk one crore to the victims injured in the tragedy, Tk 2 crore from the school authorities for each family of the dead and Tk one crore for the injured, to relocate the educational institutions from the pathway of aircraft, removal of ringleader of school business and the Headmistress of school (Miss Khadiza) within 72 hours and make the CCTV footage of the school public and make training arrangements of Bangladesh Air Force in another place.
The death toll from the tragic military aircraft crash climbed to 34 with the death of a 14-year-old boy at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Monday.
