Milestone College has achieved unparalleled success in the 50th Summer National Sports Competition organized by the Bangladesh National School, Madrasa, and Technical Education Sports Association.
Milestone College students won 27 prizes including champions in 20 events and runners-up in 7 events. This year, the Uttara Thana level sports were held on the permanent campus of Milestone College located in Diabari, Uttara. Uttara thana level competition which started on September 8 through the opening ceremony and continued till Tuesday. The special program of the final day was the prize distribution session.
Principal of Uttara Girls High School and College Md. Hazrat Ali presided over the prize distribution ceremony. Director of Secondary and Higher Education-Dhaka Region Prof. Manowar Hossain was present as the chief guest and Principal of Milestone College Mohammad Ziaul Alam was present as a special guest on the occasion. Uttara Thana Secondary Education Officer Shampa Yasmin, Senior Director (Administration) of Milestone College Md. Masud Alam were present as the guest of honor in the prize distribution ceremony.
