Milestone College observed the Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day with due respects and solemnity on the college campus in the capital on Friday.
To mark the day, authorities of Milestone College chalked out a daylong programme, including hoisting of the national flag at half mast, wearing black badges, morning procession, placing floral wreath at the Shaheed Minar on the college campus, discussion, essay competition, cultural function and prize distribution.
The discussion on Martyrs Day and International Mother Language was held on the campus. Adviser of the college Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd), Principal of Diabari campus Professor Md Shahidul Islam, Principal of Uttara campus Lt Colonel M Kamaluddin Bhuiyan (retd) and Administrative Director Md Masud Alam were present at the discussion.
