Milestone College achieved luminously remarkable results in the HSC examination under Dhaka
Education Board. This year a total of 3222 students (Bangla Medium and English Version) appeared at
the HSC examination from Milestone College and 3221 students passed. Pass rate is 99.97 % and total
GPA-5 achieved 2734 students. A total of 2548 students appeared from Science group and 2547 students
passed. Pass rate in science group is 99.96% and 2419 students got GPA-5. A total of 384 students
appeared from business studies group, Pass rate is 100 % and 168 students got GPA-5. Total 290 students
appeared from humanities group, Pass rate is 100 % and 147 students got GPA-5.
About achieving good results regularly, Principal of Milestone College Professor Md. Shahidul Islam
said, We set a goal from the first day of the academic year and work tirelessly. A quality curriculum is
implemented by our experienced academic board to make the dreams of students a reality. Also we
always strive for discipline, quality education, regular teaching etc. Principal Professor Md. Shahidul
Islam said, that many students from villages come to study at Milestone College; Many of them don't
have GPA-5 in SSC but also achieve GPA-5 in HSC. This is one of the beautiful features of Milestone
College's good results. The principal said that the students who come to study at Milestone College are
given moral education along with regular studies so that they can develop as humane and good citizens
by receiving good education. According to him, this good result is the achievement of sincerity and hard
work of all concerned including teachers, students and parents. Principal Professor Md. Shahidul Islam
congratulated all the teachers, successful students and parents of Milestone College for achieving
expected results in HSC.
