Popular band is Miles has recently completed 28 international concerts to celebrate their 40th anniversary. The latest celebration of their anniversary will be held in the country. Miles arranged an concert on December 24th at Hall 3 of the Bashundhara International Convention Center in Dhaka. Popular bands Feedback, Souls, Warfaze, Dalchhut and Vikings will take to the stage in honour of Miles.
At the concert, Miles will be presenting 30 of their songs with special arrangements. Miles has collaborated with the Jaago Foundation through this concert. They will raise funds for 35,000 underprivileged children through the concert. Windmill Advertising Limited is organizing the event. Miles' members told the details to the press at a conference at in the capital's Daily Star building on Thursday.
Members of Miles, Shafin Ahmed, Hamin Ahmed, Manam Ahmed, Syed Ziaur Rahman and Iqbal Asif were present on the occasion. Also present was Sabbir Rahman, Managing Director of Windmill, the organizer. At the press conference, Shafin Ahmed said, ‘We have already done a shortlist of concert songs. Fans will get 30 or more songs in total. There will also be a lot of new versions of songs.’
Three people will have the opportunity to sing with Miles by participating in the Sing With Miles' campaign. Meanwhile, Miles participated in campus Activision at Dhaka University, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and East West University. There will be various types of campaigns, including quizzes.
According to the press conference, the concert tickets have already been released online and offline by Windmill. Tickets are available at shohoz.com's site and at Tasty Tibet's outlet. Special zone tickets are 2500 taka and fan zone tickets cost 1000 taka. The concert gate will open at 6pm. It will end at 11 pm. Miles has released 11 albums so far. They have also released four best of albums. Of these, two came out of India and two from the United States.
